Officer Asad Zahir of the Shively Police Department (Jefferson County, Kentucky) was arrested August 25, 2026 after an internal audit flagged 2,048 Flock camera searches he ran between January and May 2026 on two vehicles registered to his child’s mother. The victim had filed a protective order against him during the same period he was tracking her. He was suspended without pay and charged with official misconduct and unlawful access to a computer.
